Please dress in your Formal School Uniform for Student Leadership, Family Portraits, and Absent Student photos. This day is for portraits of our College Captains, House Captains, and other student leaders at the College. This will also be an opportunity for students who were Absent last Tuesday. Please note that if students have a PE class on either day they will need to bring their PE uniform with them to change into. Further details about how to order your portraits will be available on the Compass Newsfeed closer to the date.
Students are not required for learning on this day! Labour Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the achievements of workers. Labour Day has its origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.
Please join us for our annual Open Night. This evening allows the community to see all that Koo Wee Rup Secondary College has to offer, to take a tour of our Learning Communities, get to know our curriculum, and provides an opportunity for you to meet our incredible staff.
