As part of year 7 camp, students attended the Nobbies which has been listed as one of the places a tourist who was infected with measles visIted. Measles can cause serious illness, particularly in the young. Anyone who is not vaccinated is at risk. Early symptoms include a runny nose, cough, fever and rash. The rash usually begins on the face and spreads down the body. The disease has an 18-day incubation period, so symptoms could show up as late as March 21.
