Projects:

Sustainability Garden and Orchard

Based on the winning designs from the Sustainability Prize in 2017, the area around the tennis courts has developed with the help of the 902 Advance students.  Brian Harlow and the Men’s Shed have managed the project and the area has been converted in to an orchard, gardens, swale and seating area. It has been partly funded by a $1000 Landcare Grant and the trees have been donated by Flemmings Nursery as part of the Victorians Schools Gardens Award.

Resources Smart Schools

The school is close to achieving its first star as part of the Resource Smart Schools project. Resource Smart Schools is an award-winning Victorian Government program that assists schools to embed sustainability in everything they do. Schools take action to minimise waste, save energy and water, promote biodiversity and take action on climate change to benefit their school and community.
